Mureka is an AI-powered music generation platform developed by Skywork AI that lets anyone create original songs from a simple text description, their own lyrics, or a reference track. It’s designed to make music creation accessible to artists, content creators, and hobbyists without requiring traditional production expertise or studio equipment.

You can type a mood, topic, or full set of lyrics — or use the built-in AI lyrics writer to draft a complete song structure — and the tool generates a finished piece, typically producing up to four variations at once. Most songs finish in one to three minutes, and there’s an instrumental mode for background music, game soundtracks, and video scores without vocals.

You can customize tempo, style, instruments, and emotional tone to match your exact specifications, giving you meaningful control rather than just a random result. The platform covers a wide range of genres, from pop, rock, hip-hop, and R&B to electronic, jazz, lo-fi, ambient, folk, and classical. Its latest generation, Mureka V9.5, is powered by proprietary MusiCoT (Music Chain-of-Thought) technology and supports vocals in more than ten languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, and German. You can also clone a voice or pick from AI vocalists, and upload a reference track of any length so Mureka generates new music that mirrors its style without directly copying it.

It runs on credit-based pricing, where each generation consumes credits depending on the model version and number of songs, and paid plans include full commercial rights.
