Let me show you what I mean.
1. Go to Microsoft Edge browser, and click on this icon in the top right corner.
2. Ask Copilot what is in the picture. It can analyze pictures in a similar way GPT vision can. I uploaded the picture above. Look below for the answer.

📰 Big AI News
1. ChatGPT announced ‘GPTs’: OpenAI made a groundbreaking announcement, introducing ‘GPTs,’ a feature allowing users to create customized versions of ChatGPT by combining instructions, additional knowledge, and various skills. These GPTs can be tailored for personal or professional use without the need for coding. Examples include a writing coach, startup advisor, and automation tools. Users can share their creations and monetize them through the upcoming GPT Store, resembling an App Store for AI. This innovation has the potential to establish a new GPT economy, where millions can build, share, and monetize their customized versions. Enterprise users can also design internal GPTs for their organizations securely. The feature is available to Plus and Enterprise users.
2. Amazon wants to compete with ChatGPT: In the wake of Elon Musk’s recent introduction of Grok, Samsung has unveiled its own AI model named Gauss, paying homage to the renowned mathematician. Gauss, as per Samsung, encompasses language, code, and image capabilities. The language aspect is akin to ChatGPT’s default text mode, but Samsung asserts its applicability extends to smarter device control. The image capability generates images, while the code component creates, unsurprisingly, code. What distinguishes Gauss from other AI models is its on-device application, prioritizing user privacy protection. Samsung is currently conducting internal tests to enhance employee productivity, with plans to extend its applications to products in the future.
3. AI detects diabetes through subtle voice changes: The AI analyzed 18,000 voice recordings from 267 individuals, examining pitch, strength, vibration, and shimmer (breathiness/hoarseness). It identified subtle differences, undetectable by humans but correlated with diabetes, achieving an accuracy of 89% in females and 86% in males. The reason behind how diabetes alters a person’s voice remains unclear, although it might be associated with vocal cord neuropathy and muscle weakness. While broader trials are necessary to confirm accuracy, if substantiated, voice screening through smartphones could offer a cost-effective method for diabetes detection.
