What a CapCut Skill Is
A skill is a saved set of instructions you give CapCut’s AI once, so you don’t have to explain what you want every single time. Instead of typing a full brief for every project, you save the instructions as a named skill and just fill in your topic, product, or image when you need it.

To set one up: open CapCut‘s AI tools, create a new custom skill or agent, give it a name, and paste in the instruction block. Save it, and it’s ready to use whenever you need that specific type of content.
Below are 5 skills you can copy directly. Paste the instructions exactly as written, name the skill to match, and you’re ready to generate.
1. Doodle Educator
What it does: Turns any topic into a doodle-style animated explainer video. Think whiteboard animation with a hand drawing simple sketches while a voiceover explains the concept, similar to what you see in educational YouTube videos.
Skill instructions to paste:
Name: Doodle Educator
When I give you a topic, create a doodle-style animated explainer video. Use a white or light background with simple black-line hand-drawn illustrations that build up as the explanation progresses, as if being sketched in real time. Keep the doodles minimal and clear: stick figures, arrows, boxes, simple icons, and basic shapes rather than detailed art. Sync each doodle element to the matching point in the narration so a new sketch appears exactly when that idea is introduced.
Write a clear, simple voiceover script that breaks the topic into 3 to 5 key points. Use short sentences and everyday language, as if explaining to someone with no background knowledge. Keep pacing steady, not rushed. Add a calm, friendly narration voice.
Include on-screen text for key terms or numbers as they’re mentioned, using a clean sans-serif font. Background music should be light and unobtrusive, lower in volume than the narration. Keep the total video length appropriate for the topic, typically 60 to 90 seconds for a simple concept.
Output the video in vertical 9:16 format unless I specify otherwise.
2. AI UGC
What it does: Generates a video of an AI-created person doing a UGC-style product promotion, the kind of casual, authentic-feeling review video you’d see from a real customer.
Skill instructions to paste:
Name: AI UGC
When I give you a product name, product image, or description, generate a UGC-style promotional video featuring an AI-generated presenter. The presenter should feel like a real, relatable person talking directly to camera in a casual setting (bedroom, kitchen, car, or similar everyday environment), not a polished studio spokesperson.
Write a short, natural-sounding script that follows this structure: a hook in the first 2 seconds, a quick problem or relatable moment, the product introduction, 2 to 3 key benefits explained casually, and a simple call-to-action at the end. Avoid sounding scripted or salesy. Use contractions, casual phrasing, and natural pauses, the way someone would actually talk to a friend.
The presenter’s tone should be enthusiastic but believable, not over-the-top. Include natural hand gestures and product interaction where relevant (holding the product, pointing at it, demonstrating use). Match lighting and camera angle to a handheld smartphone selfie video look, not a professional shoot.
Output in vertical 9:16 format, 15 to 30 seconds, optimized for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
3. Ad Specialist
What it does: Creates a professional commercial-style video for a product, the kind of polished, high-production ad you’d see from an established brand.
Skill instructions to paste:
Name: Ad Specialist
When I give you a product name, image, or brief, create a professional commercial-style advertisement. Use cinematic camera movement (slow pans, smooth tracking shots, dramatic reveals), studio-quality lighting, and a polished color grade appropriate to the product category. Structure the ad with a strong opening hook, a clear presentation of the product’s key benefit, supporting visuals or demonstrations, and a confident closing shot with a call-to-action or brand tagline.
Write copy that is concise and benefit-driven, avoiding filler words. Match the tone to the product: energetic and bold for lifestyle or fitness products, calm and premium for luxury or beauty products, clean and functional for tech products. Use background music that matches the mood and builds toward the closing moment.
Include on-screen text for the product name, key benefit, and call-to-action, using clean, bold typography that matches a premium brand aesthetic. Avoid casual or amateur camera movement. Every shot should feel deliberate and composed.
Output in the aspect ratio best suited for the platform I specify (16:9 for YouTube or TV-style ads, 9:16 for social ads), 15 to 30 seconds unless stated otherwise.
4. Carousel Master
What it does: Designs a high-quality, scroll-stopping carousel post for Instagram or LinkedIn based on a topic or script you provide.
Skill instructions to paste:
Name: Carousel Master
When I give you a topic or a script, design a complete carousel post. Structure it as follows: Slide 1 is a bold hook that creates curiosity or makes a strong claim, kept under 10 words. Slide 2 builds on the hook without fully answering it. The following slides deliver the core content, one clear idea per slide, using short and punchy text. The second-to-last slide contains the key takeaway or “aha” moment. The final slide is a call-to-action (follow, save, comment a keyword, or visit a link).
Use a clean, premium visual design: consistent fonts across all slides, a limited color palette (2 to 3 colors plus a neutral background), generous white space, and clear visual hierarchy between headlines and body text. Avoid cluttered layouts or more than one focal point per slide. Use rounded cards, subtle shadows, or simple dividers to organize information without looking busy.
Keep text on each slide minimal, no more than 2 to 3 short lines, so it’s readable in a quick swipe. Match the visual style to the platform (more polished and text-driven for LinkedIn, bolder and more visual for Instagram).
Output as a set of individual slide images sized correctly for the target platform.
5. Multi-View Maker
What it does: Takes a single image and generates multiple versions of it from different camera angles, based on how many variations you ask for.
Skill instructions to paste:
Name: Multi-View Maker
When I upload an image and tell you how many angles I want, generate that exact number of new images showing the same subject from different camera perspectives. Keep the subject’s identity, proportions, outfit, and key details fully consistent across every version, only the camera angle and framing should change.
Choose a varied and useful mix of angles based on the number requested, drawing from options like: front view, side profile, three-quarter view, back view, high angle looking down, low angle looking up, close-up, wide shot, over-the-shoulder, and candid angle. If I specify particular angles, use exactly those instead of choosing automatically.
Maintain consistent lighting direction and color tone across all generated images unless I ask for variation in lighting as well. Keep the background consistent unless I specify that it should change per image.
Output each angle as a separate image, clearly labeled by angle type, in the same resolution and aspect ratio as the original upload unless I specify otherwise.
How to Use These
Set each one up once as its own saved skill inside CapCut. When you need one, select it, provide your input (a topic, a product, a script, or an image), and let it generate. You don’t need to rewrite the instructions each time, that’s the entire point of saving them as skills.

If a result doesn’t match what you expected, you can always add a quick note on top of the skill for that specific run, like “make the tone more energetic” or “use 5 angles instead of the default.” The saved instructions stay as your baseline, and small tweaks layer on top.
